Is Kingdom Hearts live in Fortnite?
Yes. Kingdom Hearts launched in Fortnite on September 17, 2026 as part of Chapter 7 Season 4: Override. Epic’s launch announcement confirms the crossover is live, the four character outfits are in the Shop, and Kingdom Hearts gameplay content is active on the Island.

The launch lineup has four outfits:

What is in the Kingdom Hearts Fortnite Item Shop?
The official web Shop lists a KINGDOM HEARTS Bundle for 4,500 V-Bucks, reduced from a displayed combined value of 10,300 V-Bucks. The bundle includes all four outfits plus a large set of character gear and extras.
Notable standalone prices include:

- Keyblade Flourish — 300 V-Bucks;
- Soul Eater — 800 V-Bucks;
- Oathkeeper & Oblivion — 800 V-Bucks;
- Destiny’s Embrace — 800 V-Bucks;

- Sea-Salt Ice Cream Back Bling — 400 V-Bucks;

What does the Kingdom Key do in Battle Royale?
The gameplay version of the Kingdom Key is separate from the cosmetic Pickaxe. Epic says the Battle Royale weapon can unleash melee combos and call down a lightning bolt on opponents.
A special Level Up Override can spawn a Mythic Kingdom Key for each squad member at their current location. What is Sea Salt Ice Cream in Fortnite?
Sea Salt Ice Cream appears in two different contexts, just like the Kingdom Key. Epic’s v42.20 Battle Royale notes say the consumable gives you and nearby teammates a burst of health and shields. The Item Shop separately sells a Sea-Salt Ice Cream Back Bling for 400 V-Bucks.
Do not confuse the consumable with the cosmetic. Buying the Back Bling is not required to use the healing item in a match.
What are the Kingdom Hearts Overrides?
Two Kingdom Hearts Overrides were added beneath the heart-shaped moon:
- Recovery Override (Squad & Match-Wide): eliminating a player with any weapon drops healing orbs.
- Level Up Override (Squad): spawns a Mythic Kingdom Key for each squad member at their current location.
These are gameplay systems, not Shop purchases. They are part of the Override season mechanics.
When were the Kingdom Hearts Power Hours?
Epic ran KINGDOM HEARTS Power Hours on Saturday, September 19, 2026, in two windows: 2–4 PM ET and 9–11 PM ET. During those sessions, every player started with a Kingdom Key and a Sea Salt Ice Cream; Hacker Sprite variants appeared more often, and 1-Up Tokens plus Portable Extractors could drop from Chests.
Those scheduled Power Hours have ended as of September 21. The Kingdom Key and Sea Salt Ice Cream remain part of the broader crossover gameplay, but the guaranteed-start event windows are over.
Was there a Kingdom Hearts Fortnite Cup?
Yes. Epic’s competitive site listed the Override Series: KINGDOM HEARTS Cup across September 18–19, 2026, with Battle Royale, Zero Build and Mobile events depending on region. Those launch-weekend sessions have now ended.
The event offered Kingdom Hearts cosmetic rewards, with exact session times varying by region.
How long are the Kingdom Hearts cosmetics in the Shop?
Epic’s web Shop currently marks the Kingdom Hearts offers as purchasable until October 1, 2026 at 12:00 AM. Shop availability can still change, so the Item Shop tracker remains the page to check for current status and future returns.
